Türkiye’s most prestigious award in sports technology goes to Weartech Club, recognizing breakthrough achievements in wearable innovation and national impact
Weartech Club has been honored with the 2025 BİGG SPOR Award, a milestone that celebrates the company’s pioneering role in Türkiye’s sports technology landscape. The award, presented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, recognizes outstanding innovation, impact, and forward-looking development in the field of wearable sports technologies.
The award ceremony took place with the presence of Mr. Osman Aşkın Bak, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mr. Mehmet Fatih KACIR, Minister of Industry and Technology. Their strong emphasis on integrating sports and technology for national development served as a motivating reminder of the mission Weartech Club has embraced from the beginning.
“This award is not only a recognition of what we’ve achieved, but also a call to keep pushing, building, and leading,” said the Weartech Club team during the ceremony.
As part of the BİGG SPOR initiative supported by TÜBİTAK, the program aims to accelerate Türkiye’s leadership in sports innovation, manufacturing, and exports through high-impact entrepreneurship. The recognition also reflects Weartech Club’s commitment to developing data-driven, human-centered wearable technologies that go beyond performance tracking and into health, movement optimization, and local industry empowerment.
Throughout the event, the Weartech Club team welcomed visitors, stakeholders, and supporters to their stand. A special acknowledgment was made to Mr. Sadullah UZUN, Director of Technology at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, for his visit and encouragement.
“This success belongs not only to us, but to every entrepreneur who believes in the transformative power of technology, health, and movement,” the team added.
